Just when you think it is going to be a boring day in the office the scanner traffic turns serious as a man is spotted carrying a handgun.
The man was spotted walking around the downtown area and got into a car which was stopped on 12th Street near the Historical Museum. With the possibility of a gun a large force of officers made the high risk felony stop taking the occupants out of the car one at a time at gunpoint.
A pistol and its magazine were found in the car and at least one person was arrested. I arrived in time to find the street blocked off as officers conducted the felony stop and then searched the car.
