So the prep spring sports season has gotten into full swing even though it feels like summer. I was at the Tracy High swimming pool for their meet against Lodi today and this was the first swim meet I shot of the year.
Swimming is not too terribly hard to shoot, you know where the swimmers will be it is just a matter of when. I don't use autofocus. there is not spot to prefocus the camera so it is a great test of the follow-focus skills.
All of these shots were taken with a Canon Eos 1D MK II with a 70-200 mm 2.8 lens with a 1.4 extender attached. Not great stuff but descent for the first swim meet of the year.
