Glow in the dark

This is Tracy High science teacher Kirk Brown displaying a protein synthesized from an ocean-going jellyfish that is used in bioluminescence to make glow-in-the-dark rats. I think it would be cool if they used it to make glow-in-the-dark freshmen.  That would be fun.
