I was shooting the sign marking the site of the new Winco store coming to Tracy near the Pavilion shopping center when I hear a curious chirping noise. Perched on the dirt no five feet from me was an inquisitive burrowing owl.
He didn’t seem scared of me but just stared as I switched to a 70 -200mm zoom with a 1.4 extender for his portrait. He is a cute little guy and so far the only animal that has not copped an attitude when I pointed a camera at him
